On this pre-trip episode, Virginia sits down with Catt from @catt_inthekingdom over on Instagram to talk through the plans for her upcoming October trip. Catt is a self proclaimed Disney nerd who has taken her love as far as becoming a Disney Vacation Club member and an annual passholder, and then took it a step further by becoming a travel planner. For this trip, Catt’s family won a two night stay at Saratoga Springs and will be driving down from NC and packing as much as they can into the limited time they have.

On this episode, Maria checks back in with Virginia to talk through her recent WDW trip. This goal oriented trip included (spoiler alert) getting pixie-dusted to a family suite at Art of Animation, missing a flight due to NYC traffic, and enjoying all of the amazing foods and drinks Epcot has to offer. The specific goal of this amazing trip was to show Maria’s husband Mike an amazing time. Maria visits WDW annually with family or friends, but is hoping to bring Mike into the Disney parks fandom so that they can look forward to future trips as a couple!

The goal of this trip is to show Maria’s husband Mike how much fun a Disney vacation can be in hopes that he will agree to future visits! This trip includes plans for a stay at Pop Century Resort, an umbrella reservation for a day at Typhoon Lagoon, using a DAS Pass, and checking out Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival.

Virginia is joined again by Aly from @captivate_magic to talk through how the September Walt Disney World vacation panned out. Spoiler alert, it was unusually busy for the middle of September so Aly and her husband did end up adjusting plans as the trip went along. After beginning their trip at Coronado Springs, they moved over to a one bedroom (access to in room laundry!) DVC villa at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn. This trip was filled with old favorites for the couple, as well as trying a number of new things, some of which sound like they will be added to the list of favorites for next time!

Virginia and Alex (her 13 year old son) sit down to talk about their upcoming September 2023 Labor Day Weekend trip to celebrate Virginia’s birthday. They are looking forward to this quick visit to tide them over until their next big annual trip. They plan to get as much packed into these few days as possible, will be visiting all four parks, and plan to stay at Pop Century Resort. Food & Wine Festival, trying Cinderella’s Royal Table, and a first ride on Tron (for Alex and his Dad, Charles) are all on the agenda.

Virginia welcomes back Jennifer Cusato to fill us in on how her family’s five night, double dip Castaway Cay cruise from Miami to Nassau on the Disney Magic went. Jennifer, a travel planner who specializes in Disney, is no stranger to Disney Cruises. In fact, this was her 9th Disney Cruise! Their trip was full of time spent relaxing by the pool or on the beach at Castaway Cay, a 5k walk as a family, lots of trips down the AquaDunk for her daughter, and just might have ended in them getting their next cruise booked. At the end, we chat about Disney’s newest ship, The Treasure, which is scheduled to set sail in December 2024.
