Aly joins Virginia for a run down of everything she and her family did on her recent visit to Universal Studios and Walt Disney World. Joining Aly were her husband Brian, her son Sully, and Sully’s girlfriend, Sarah. The group enjoyed a stay at Universal’s Endless Summer Dockside Resort (staying in a two bedroom suite) and in the Copper Creek section of Disney’s Wilderness Lodge (in two DVC deluxe studios). Because this was Sarah’s first trip to either Disney or Universal, Aly was excited to share the magic with her.

On this week’s pre-trip report, Virginia welcomes back Aly to the podcast to talk about her upcoming trip to Walt Disney World and Universal Studios. Joining Aly on this trip are her husband, her son, and her son’s girlfriend who is going to be a first time guest to both the Disney and Universal parks. Aly is excited to show this “whole new world” to her and let her experience the magic. Their plans include a stay at Universal’s Endless Summer Resort - Dockside Inn and Suites, and Copper Creek in Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, a character meal at Chef Mickey’s, and taking advantage of things like Genie+, Individual Lightning Lanes, and deluxe after hours.

Virginia welcomes back Miranda and Corey of @bippityboppitybenfields on Instagram about their December 2023 getaway to Disney’s Hilton Head Resort! This laid back property is the perfect place to enjoy many of the things they love about visiting a Disney property like outdoor movies, s’more making, trivia, and of course the cast members, while also getting to explore the community of Hilton Head Island. This trip involved lots of bike riding, board game playing, and some good chats with cast members.

After a nice long trip to Florida for the Christmas and New Year holidays, Cate from @ever.after.adventures joins Virginia to go through all the magical details of their multi week trip. This trip had multiple legs, from Walt Disney World, to visiting with family, and then back to the parks. It all starts off with a road trip from Toronto to Clearwater and involves pivots galore, meeting up with so many fun Instagram friends, introducing her husband James’ parents to Walt Disney World for the very first time, and James’ birthday. And to wrap it all up, after always thinking it might be cool to get a tattoo while in Orlando…it finally happened. This trip was epic!

Virginia sits down with Cate from @ever.after.adventures on Instagram to talk through her plans for a multiple leg trip to Florida for the Christmas and New Year holidays. Virginia welcomes back previous podcast guest Dana, whose family decided they wanted to wake up at Walt Disney World on Christmas morning for the first time. On this magical and merry trip, they stayed at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. While this family are fairly frequent visitors to the parks, this was the first time for the kids to ride Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind, as well as the first time for a few of them to try Tron. Highlights of the trip include Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, being evacuated from Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and playing ping pong at the resort with Donald Duck!
