The auto train journey to Orlando was a success! Renée has returned and is ready to share all the details of her magical trip which was September 24-30, 2025. Renée, her son Oakie, and mom stayed at Pop Century for the first time since the Skyliner came on the scene. They were lucky enough to snag tickets to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and an After Hours Party at Epcot!

Renée, who you may remember from her January 2025 trip is back, this time to talk about her upcoming trip to Walt Disney World with her mom and baby. This threesome will be taking a drive to Lorton, VA to catch the auto train to Orlando. This will allow them to bring their own car, pack as much as they want, and generally have a more relaxing journey. Once in Florida, they will be spending some time in the parks, including an evening at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.

Pre-Trip Report: Lucy’s Goodbye to Dinosaur Trip (September 2025)

Lucy, from the Parents on Disney podcast, is planning a trip to WDW with her husband and two young children. They are staying off-site (first time) for their arrival night, before moving over to Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort. They will enjoy a day at Typhoon Lagoon followed by two park days. Because it’s been a couple years since her kids visited the parks, there are many things they may not remember. One thing her daughter remembers though, is Dinosaur! This whole trip came together to give her a chance to say one final goodbye.

Chris, who is @trumpet_squid on TikTok, joins the podcast for the first time to talk through all the plans for his upcoming birthday trip with his wife Chrissy. On this adventure, they will be kid-free and looking to enjoy things like the Food and Wine Festival, the new GEO-82 Lounge, their old favorite Nomad Lounge, and of course making their way into all four parks. This will be the couple’s first time staying at Coronado Springs Resort, and more specifically, their first time staying at Gran Destino Tower.

Virginia sits down with Alex to talk through the plans for their upcoming Labor Day Weekend Mother/Son trip in honor of Virginia’s birthday. They will be staying at All-Star Sports on their arrival day and taking advantage of the free water park day at Blizzard Beach (a first time for both the resort and that water park). For the remainder of the trip, they will be staying at Pop Century Resort, getting in plenty of park time (especially at Epcot), and have tickets for the DVC Moonlight Magic party at Hollywood Studios.
