Pre-Trip Report: Renee’s Land and Sea Adventure (January 2026)

Renée is back once again to talk about her upcoming trip. This time it’s a land and sea adventure! She and son Oakie will be joined by her mom, Michelle once again to have some Disney fun. First, they are planning to stay two nights at Animal Kingdom Lodge, Jambo House where they will enjoy a breakfast at Boma and take in all the things the resort has to offer. Then, they sail away on the Disney Destiny where they will get to visit both of Disney’s private islands: Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. After the cruise wraps, Renée will be getting two days of park time with Oakie.

Pre-Trip Report: Jon’s runDisney Marathon Weekend Trip (January 2026)

The WDW Runner is back for another Dopey Challenge! Jon joins Virginia to sit down and talk through the details for his upcoming runDisney Marathon Weekend. This year, he and his wife are planning to forgo the deluxe resort for a stay at All-Star Sports and will once again be tackling the half-marathon together. They have some specific food plans (the buffalo chicken grilled cheese sandwich, for one) that they will be trying to weave in with their running and will plan to visit all four parks in their spare time.

Pre-Trip Report: Carmen’s Trip to Disneyland Paris & Efteling (December 2025)

Carmen is planning a European vacation for her family! After picking up her daughter from Leipzig, Germany (where she has been studying abroad), they are planning to visit both Disneyland Paris (France, obviously) and Efteling (Netherlands). If you haven’t heard of Efteling before, it has been open since before the original Disneyland park in Anaheim and is said to have been an inspiration for Walt. Pre-Trip Report: Lisa’s More Means Merrier Girls’ Trip (December 2025)

Lisa is preparing to go on a mother/daughter girls’ trip that has evolved into a larger girls’ trip, including Lisa, daughter Bekah, mom Cheri (who hasn’t been to WDW in 25 years), sister-in-law Randy, and niece Sarah. As they say, the more the merrier! This glorious group has plans to do three days of park-hopping and will be prioritizing the magic of the holidays with a Candlelight Processional dining package and tickets to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
