Virginia is joined again by Aly from @captivate_magic to talk through how the September Walt Disney World vacation panned out.  Spoiler alert, it was unusually busy for the middle of September so Aly and her husband did end up adjusting plans as the trip went along.  After beginning their trip at Coronado Springs, they moved over to a one bedroom (access to in room laundry!)  DVC villa at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn.  This trip was filled with old favorites for the couple, as well as trying a number of new things, some of which sound like they will be added to the list of favorites for next time!

Virginia and Alex (her 13 year old son) sit down to talk about their upcoming September 2023 Labor Day Weekend trip to celebrate Virginia’s birthday.  They are looking forward to this quick visit to tide them over until their next big annual trip.  They plan to get as much packed into these few days as possible, will be visiting all four parks, and plan to stay at Pop Century Resort.  Food & Wine Festival, trying Cinderella’s Royal Table, and a first ride on Tron (for Alex and his Dad, Charles) are all on the agenda.

Virginia welcomes back Jennifer Cusato to fill us in on how her family’s five night, double dip Castaway Cay cruise from Miami to Nassau on the Disney Magic went.  Jennifer, a travel planner who specializes in Disney, is no stranger to Disney Cruises.  In fact, this was her 9th Disney Cruise! Their trip was full of time spent relaxing by the pool or on the beach at Castaway Cay, a 5k walk as a family, lots of trips down the AquaDunk for her daughter, and just might have ended in them getting their next cruise booked.  At the end, we chat about Disney’s newest ship, The Treasure, which is scheduled to set sail in December 2024.

On this episode, Virginia chats with Sara about her recent trip to Walt Disney World.  Sara’s family of six includes a 15 year old, a 10 year old, and 6 year old twins who were on their first ever Disney trip!  The family stayed at a Disney Springs good neighbor hotel, took advantage of Genie+ and utilized child swap.  After learning how the youngest were going to handle the rides and the sit down restaurants, plans shifted and choices were made to keep everyone going and enjoying the trip.

Brent’s ”Ohana” Trip to WDW (July/August 2023)

On this episode, Virginia sits down with Brent who recently traveled to Walt Disney World with his lovely wife Pam and their three “kids” (two adult sons, plus one girlfriend).  With a party of five, they took advantage of the two bedroom villa at Animal Kingdom Lodge where they had three…yes, three…bathrooms!  This trip was chock full of delicious dining reservations, like old family favorites including Beaches and Cream, Sci-Fi Dine In, The Boathouse, Ohana…as well as some newer family favorites like Rosa Mexicana.
