Chris, who is @trumpet_squid on TikTok, joins the podcast for the first time to talk through all the plans for his upcoming birthday trip with his wife Chrissy. On this adventure, they will be kid-free and looking to enjoy things like the Food and Wine Festival, the new GEO-82 Lounge, their old favorite Nomad Lounge, and of course making their way into all four parks. This will be the couple’s first time staying at Coronado Springs Resort, and more specifically, their first time staying at Gran Destino Tower.

They will be staying at All-Star Sports on their arrival day and taking advantage of the free water park day at Blizzard Beach (a first time for both the resort and that water park). For the remainder of the trip, they will be staying at Pop Century Resort, getting in plenty of park time (especially at Epcot), and have tickets for the DVC Moonlight Magic party at Hollywood Studios.

Pre-Trip Report: Tanner’s Mother/Son Adventure (August 2025)

Tanner and her son Griffin are planning a mother/son trip to Walt Disney World, August 25-28. While Tanner goes to the parks somewhat regularly as a travel agent, this will be Griffin’s first time back in the parks in several years. They have reservations for Pop Century Resort, tickets to both Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and an After Hours Party, and they are looking forward to utilizing as many lightning lanes as they can to maximize their time.
